Who is Pete?AdventurerPhotographerWriterProfessional
  • Welcome

I've stood on the remnants of ancient civilizations reclaimed by the jungle, gazed upon remote starclusters in both hemispheres, gone days without food in the middle of nowhere, jumped off hundred foot waterfalls, slept covered in snow, suffered from mountain sickness at 18,000 feet in the Himalayas and stared deep into the darkness of a seven thousand foot drop from inches away.

I've driven three wheeled vehicles thousands of miles across South America and India, raced cars at over 200MPH, hung from the wings of planes in flight and let go, trained to fight in Thailand, been treated at hospitals on four continents, and have broken bones or dislocated joints in every limb.

I've taken over 40,000 photographs, recorded hundreds of hours of video, and written tens of thousands of words about my life, my adventures, and my experiences both mundane and insane.

On January 1, 2010 I walked away from a successful lifelong career in Information Technology to see more of the world in a depth that is simply not possible with a typical American micro-vacation.

I am Pete and this is my story. To find out more, explore the links above or start following me now:
